Crohn’s disease is an ongoing disorder that causes inflammation of the digestive tract, also referred to as the gastrointestinal (GI) tract. This disease affects as many as 700,000 Americans. Crohn’s and colitis can occur to anyone and is not gender or age specific, Crohn’s is most common among adolescents and young adults between the ages of 15 and 35. Crohn’s is known as a genetic sensitive disease, so if you or a close relative have the disease, your family members have a significantly increased chance of developing Crohn’s. Studies have shown that 5% to 20% of affected individuals have a first – degree relative (parents, child, or sibling) with one of the diseases.
We are proud to continuously work alongside the Mercedes-Benz of Greater Houston Dealer group for such noble causes.
