The Houston Sports Awards presented by Insperity was created by the Harris County in 2018. The extraordinary roaring 20’s themed evening will celebrate Houston’s greatest and most skilled athletes, coaches, teams, contributors and moments. It truly rewards those athletes that had a sensational year and honors those who have had an outstanding career to be inducted to the Houston Sports Hall of Fame.
Who Is Attending?
Aside from the amazing nominees so many celebrities make an appearance to this inaugural event. From past NFL coaches to Olympians such as Simone Biles attend the event. Last year the carpet was walked by some of the most accomplished local celebrities to just name a few; former Houston Rockets player and NBA Hall of Famer Hakeem Olajuwon, Former Houston Texans player Andre, and Houston Texans player Ryan Griffin.
