What is the Beach Polo World Cup?
Founded by entrepreneur and polo enthusiast Bruce Orosz, the Beach Polo World Cup in Miami features 8 international teams and over 120 horses. This four-day event hosts a combination of polo matches, fashion, and parties. This year’s sponsors include Land Rover, The Setai, the World Polo League, and Bodvar House of Roses.
Are Tickets Required?
General admission along the beach is complimentary for the public. Polo Lounge and VIP tickets will be available for purchase as the event date nears. Ticket prices range from $75 – $13,000.
Although tickets are pricey, for some it is exceptionally worth it. The Miami Polo World Cup serves as a vibrant hub where business people and socialites network and connect. Amidst the excitement of the polo matches, attendees engage in casual conversations and formal meetings, leveraging the event’s relaxed atmosphere to forge new business relationships. For business people, the event offers a unique opportunity to interact with potential clients, partners, and investors in a dynamic setting, facilitating discussions that often extend beyond the polo field.
What is The Dress Code?
Polo is a luxury sport, so expect attendees to be (casually) dressed to impress. Fans typically wear fun hats, sundresses, tailored jackets, and polo shirts paired with shorts. However, beach bystanders are more than welcome to watch in their bathing suits from a distance!
